To set up the RCP AvaTax account, navigate to the Restrict >> AvaTax menu item in your WordPress dashboard. This will bring you to the ‘AvaTax Settings’ page. Fill out the fields on this page to activate and connect the plugin to your Avatax account.

• AvaTax Settings – plugin settings

  • License Key – Enter the license key provided to you when you purchase the RCP AvaTax plugin. You should have received this via email sent to the email address you used to purchase the plugin.

• Account Info – Avalara settings

  • Account Number – This can be found by logging into your Avalara AvaTax account. Your account Number is on the right hand side of the Avalara page as shown in the image below.
    
  • License Key – Your Avalara license key should have been received via an email from Avalara. If you need to reset your key, navigate to the settings page in your Avalara AvaTax account. Find the ‘Reset License Key’ link under ‘Access and Security’. See the image below.
    
  • Company Code – This can be found by navigating to the ‘Organization’ tab on your Avalara AvaTax account page and selecting a company. See the images below.
